The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation to the Department of Health and Human
Services of $583,920 in fiscal year 2022-23 to develop a pilot project
lasting 18 months that provides nonmedical transportation services to
individuals receiving services pursuant to rule Chapter 101: MaineCare
Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Section 19, Home and Community Benefits for the
Elderly and Adults with Disabilities, in an amount up to $2,000, including to
contract with an entity to report back to the legislature on the impact of
the pilot. |
