The Regulation
and Enforcement program within the Department of Labor will require General
Fund appropriations of $380,502 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $512,768 in fiscal
year 2022-23 for 4 Labor and Safety Inspector positions and 2 Consumer
Assistant Specialist positions and related All Other costs associated with
the education, outreach and enforcement of the law that prohibits employers
from terminating the employment of an employee without cause. This fiscal
note assumes an October 1, 2021 effective date. |
