This bill
transfers responsibility for the Citizen Trade Policy Commission from the
Legislature to the Maine International Trade Center within the Department of
Economic and Community Development (DECD) beginning in fiscal year 2022-23.
The bill includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $27,620 per year
beginning in fiscal year 2022-23 to the International Commerce program within
DECD and corresponding General Fund deappropriations to the Citizen Trade
Policy Commission within the Legislature to transfer the funding from the
Legislature to DECD. |
