Any additional
costs to the Department of Environmental Protection or the Maine Land Use
Planning Commission (MLUPC) within the Department of Agriculture,
Conservation and Forestry as a result of rules regarding the decommissioning
process for solar energy developments are anticipated to be minor and can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. Provisions allowing MLUPC to
establish fees related to the permitting process will result in additional
Other Special Revenue Funds revenue. |
