|
The Legislature
will require ongoing appropriations of $88,296 in fiscal year 2021-22 and
$116,003 in fiscal year 2022-23 for one Legislative Analyst position in the
Legislature's Office of Fiscal and Program Review to prepare statements of
climate impact on all legislation that would have an apparent significant
climate impact if implemented. It will also require a one-time appropriation
of $50,000 in fiscal year 2021-22 for the costs of contracting with an
appropriate entity to set up a climate impact analysis system, including any
information technology modifications and costs. |

The Department of
Environmental Protection has indicated it will require appropriations of
$340,321 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $473,774 in fiscal year 2022-23 for one
Public Service Manager I position, 2 Planning and Research Associate II
positions, 2 Environmental Specialist III positions and associated costs to
provide information related to the impact of legislation on climate. |
