The additional
workload associated with the minimal number of new cases filed in the court
system does not require additional funding at this time. The collection of additional fines may
increase General Fund or other dedicated revenue by minor amounts. |

This bill
establishes certain requirements and prohibitions regarding hunting or
training with dogs and creates penalties for violations. The bill also
establishes a process for enforcement of violations of civil trespass with a
hunting dog. It creates a dog training and hunting permit with a fee of $12
to be credited to the Landowner Relations Fund. The Department of Inland
Fisheries and Wildlife estimates 1,500 permits will be issued, generating an
additional Other Special Revenue Funds revenue of $18,000 beginning in fiscal
year 2022-23. The department will require a corresponding allocation to allow
expenditure of the funds. |
