Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The bill includes
one-time General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human
Services of $150,000 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $150,000 in fiscal year
2022-23 to provide emergency payments
to the Maine Veterans' Homes facilities located in Machias and Caribou. Other
Special Revenue (OSR) Funds allocations are also included in this bill for
the FMAP match.
A more current estimate would not change the General Fund approproations in
the bill, but it would include Federal Expenditures Fund allocations for the
FMAP match (this does not come from OSR) and it would reduce the Other
Special Revenue Funds allocations to the level that should have been included
for the Service Provider Tax. |
