The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation of $12,000,000 in fiscal year 2023-24
to the Department of Health and Human Services to provide financial
assistance to emergency medical services entities at immediate risk of
failing and leaving their communities without access to adequate emergency
medical services. |

to the Department of Public Safety associated with administering the program
can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
