The Department of
Public Safety will require a Consolidated Emergency Communications Fund
allocation of $2,467 in fiscal year 2026-27 to add the programs coordinator
and emergency communications director positions to the 1998 Special Plan. |

Any additional
costs to the Maine Public Employees Retirement System from the provisions of
this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
