Rep. Grayson Lookner is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives. He serves on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and the newly-created Joint Select Committee on Housing.

In addition to his work as a community organizer around economic and environmental justice issues, Rep. Lookner has worked as an EMT, a wilderness guide and a behavioral health professional. He grew up working in his family's restaurant and attended Prescott College in Arizona before returning to Maine.

Rep. Lookner has worked on campaigns to bring vital democratic reforms to Maine and worked to reduce the influence of big money in Maine politics. Additionally, he has also consulted for political parties in both Sweden and the United Kingdom. Rep. Lookner is pushing to make Maine a leader in restorative justice efforts and bring forward the interests of marginalized groups. His other priorities include affordable housing, health care and climate change mitigation efforts.

Rep. Lookner is an avid outdoors enthusiast and a registered Maine Sea Kayaking Guide who has logged thousands of miles on foot on trails from Mexico to Alaska. He also enjoys playing guitar.
