PUBLIC HEARINGS:  Wednesday, December 14th through Friday, December 16th Room 228 State House

LR 2678: An Act to Make Supplemental Appropriations and Allocations for the Expenditures of State Government and To Change Certain Provisions of the Law Necessary to the Proper Operations of State Government for the Fiscal Years Ending June 30, 2012 and June 30, 2013.

Wednesday, December 14, Starting at 9:00 AM

Programs, initiatives and language related to: elder services, developmental disabilities, and children’s mental health services, Child Medicaid, optional Medicaid coverage to families, state-funded foster care/adoption assistance and consumer directed attendant services.  Also included would be the portions of the PNMI and Targeted Case Management cuts affecting these areas.

 

Thursday, December 15, Starting at 8:30AM

Programs, initiatives and language related to: adult mental health, substance abuse, Targeted Case Management services to homeless persons and those with HIV, optional Medicaid coverage for certain 19 and 20 year olds and the Childless Adult Waiver program.  Also included would be the portions of the PNMI and Targeted Case Management cuts affecting those areas not specifically mentioned.

 

Friday, December 16, Starting at 8:30 AM

Programs, initiatives and language related to: the Fund for a Healthy Maine, Optional Medicaid services not previously heard, hospital and outpatient reimbursements, departmentwide initiatives, appropriations for FMAP reductions (collectively), funding for increases in “cycle payments” (collectively) and interfund transfers.
