PUBLICATIONS

            The publications of the Revisor of Statutes are as follows:

• Maine Revised Statutes  - Available on-line.  The statutes are also available as the Maine Revised Statutes Annotated from West Publishing Company, P.O. Box 64526, St. Paul, Minnesota at current price.

• Individual Session Laws of the State - Contains all Session Laws and related documents of each Legislative Session.  The Laws of Maine are available on-line beginning with those from the 118^th Legislature. These copies are searchable and available in multiple formats, one document or page per chaptered law.

• Laws of the State of Maine - PDF copies of published volumes of Laws of the State of Maine containing laws and other materials. This is an exact, searchable copy of the printed volumes, and begins with the 124^th First Regular Session of the Legislature.

• The Revisor's Report - An annual report that contains a description of all nonsubstantive changes and corrections made to the statutory database by the Revisor as authorized by the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 1, Section 95.  The Revisor's Report is published in the Laws of the State of Maine and is available on-line.

• Maine Legislative Drafting Manual - A guide for drafting legislative instruments, the manual is periodically updated by the Revisor's Office. The most recent version, as revised through August 2009, is available both on-line and in hard copy.  Hard copies are available to the public for a nominal fee.  In addition, a version of the drafting manual that may be downloaded in its entirety is available here: Drafting Manual, MS-Word doc format or Drafting Manual, PDF Format (requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader which may be obtained here).
