§2104. State registry of support orders

Record of all support orders.
On or before October 1, 1998, the department shall maintain a record of each support order established or modified in the State. The record must include standardized data elements, including the names, social security numbers and dates of birth of the parties. The department shall update and monitor the record relating to each support order in all cases in which support rights are assigned to the department or for which the department otherwise provides support enforcement services. The department and the judicial branch shall work cooperatively to develop efficient procedures for implementing the requirements of this subsection.

Automated data matching.
The department shall compare by automated data processing the record of each support order maintained by the department with the records of the Federal Government, other states and other state agencies for the purposes of matching, receiving and disclosing information as required by 42 United States Code, Chapter 7, Subchapter IV, Part D (1996). All state agencies shall work cooperatively with the department to develop automated procedures for providing the department with information the department is permitted access to for purposes of carrying out its responsibilities under the Social Security Act, Chapter 7, Subchapter IV, Part D.
