Sec. P-1. Department of Human Services report on Medicare Part A crossover payments. The Department of Human Services shall report annually on or before January 15th to the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over health and human services matters and to the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over appropriations and financial affairs on the impact of the elimination of Medicare Part A crossover payments. The report must specifically analyze the impact on individual hospitals and the actual and potential impact of any new federal or state legislation affecting hospital reimbursement.
Emergency clause. In view of the emergency cited in the preamble, this Act takes effect when approved.
Effective March 15, 1999, unless otherwise indicated.
