Sec. DDD-1. Working capital advance. The State Controller is authorized to advance to the Veterans Services program, General Fund account in the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management an amount not to exceed $100,000 from the General Fund unappropriated surplus on July 1, 2000 to be allotted by financial order upon the recommendation of the State Budget Officer and approval of the Governor for the purpose of establishing the Northern Maine Veterans' Cemetery. Any funds transferred for this purpose must be returned to the General Fund no later than June 30, 2001.
