§1835. Standing to maintain proceeding
Subject to other provisions of this chapter, a proceeding to adjudicate parentage may be maintained by:

Child.
The child;

Woman giving birth.
The woman who gave birth to the child;

Person whose parentage to be adjudicated.
A person whose parentage is to be adjudicated;

Department of Health and Human Services.
The department; or

Representative of individual.
A representative authorized by law to act for an individual who would otherwise be entitled to maintain a proceeding but who is deceased, incapacitated or a minor.
