Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §1760, sub-§9-H is enacted to read:

 
9-H.__Electricity sold to farmers.__Electricity used directly
and primarily in commercial agricultural and aquacultural
production.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill exempts electricity used directly and primarily in
commercial agricultural and aquacultural production from the
sales tax.
