Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 1 MRSA §221 is enacted to read:

 
§221.__State herb

 
The herb wintergreen (gaultheria procumbens) is the official
state herb.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill establishes the herb wintergreen as the official
state herb.
