Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6455, sub-§5, ¶¶A, B and C, as enacted by PL 1991, c. 523, §2, are amended to read:

A. Class I crab and lobster licenses for persons 18 to 69 years of age, $25;, except that for calendar years 2000 and 2001 the surcharge is as follows:

(1)__If the holder purchases from 1,000 to 1,200 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B,__ $25;

(2)__If the holder purchases from 800 to 999 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B,__ $21;

(3)__If the holder purchases from 600 to 799 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B,__ $17;

(4)__If the holder purchases from 400 to 599 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B,__ $12.50;

(5)__If the holder purchases from 200 to 399 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B,__$8; and

(6)__If the holder purchases under 200 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B, $4;

B. Class II crab and lobster licenses, $50;, except that for calendar years 2000 and 2001 the surcharge is as follows:

(1)__If the holder purchases from 1,000 to 1,200 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B, $50;

(2)__If the holder purchases from 800 to 999 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B, $42;

(3)__If the holder purchases from 600 to 799 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B,__ $33;

(4)__If the holder purchases from 400 to 599 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B, $25;

(5)__If the holder purchases from 200 to 399 trap tags for that calendar year pursuant to section 6431-B, $17; and
