| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7065 is enacted to read: |

| | | §7065.__Rewards to informants |

| | | The payment of a reward of any monetary amount to any person | | who reports a violation of any provision of this Title is | | prohibited. |

| | | This bill prohibits state agencies or private persons from | | giving monetary rewards to persons who report violations of the | | fish and wildlife laws. |
