| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows: |

| | Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §13090-G, sub-§§1-A and 6 are enacted to read: |
|
| | 1-A.__Allocation of funds.__Within the limits of available | funding, for every dollar raised by the private sector for travel | promotion under this section, the State shall provide $1 in | matching funds.__A grant may not exceed the amount raised by the | organization and applied to its proposed program. |
|
| | 6.__Reimbursement procedures.__Upon receipt in writing of | satisfactory evidence of program progress and funds expended or | committed, the Office of Tourism and Community Development shall | reimburse the organization according to a matching funds | contract.__Within 60 days of completion of the program, each | grant recipient shall provide the Office of Tourism and Community | Development with the following: |

| A.__A completed program evaluation report on a form supplied | by the Office of Tourism and Community Development; |
|
| B.__Copies of all advertisements purchased; |
|
| C.__Samples of any promotion material used in the program; | and |
|
| D.__Any other information requested by the Office of Tourism | and Community Development. |

| | Sec. 2. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the | General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act. |
