| | | Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §4801, sub-§2, as enacted by PL 1981, c. 693, §§5 | | and 8, is amended to read: |

The first day of | | classes of the school year must be after Labor Day.__ | | Extracurricular activities may take place before Labor Day. |
