| | | Whereas, unless this legislation is enacted as an emergency, | | there will not be sufficient time in which to complete the study | | before the Second Regular Session of the 119th Legislature; and |

| | | Whereas, in the judgment of the Legislature, these facts create | | an emergency within the meaning of the Constitution of Maine and | | require the following legislation as immediately necessary for | | the preservation of the public peace, health and safety; now, | | therefore, be it |

| | | Sec. 1. Advisory committee. Resolved: That there is established an | | advisory committee known as Maine's Business Advisory Committee | | on Prescription Drug Costs and Efficiencies, referred to in this | | resolve as the "committee"; and be it further |
