§12304.__Advisory Committee on Dental Education |

| | 1.__Committee.__The Advisory Committee on Dental | Education,established pursuant to Title 5, section 12004-I, | subsection 7-C, shall assist the chief executive officer in | evaluating and improving the program. |
|
| | 2.__Members.__The Advisory Committee on Dental Education | consists of: |
|
| A.__Seven voting members appointed by the chief executive | officer and subject to approval by the joint standing | committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over | education matters.__Of these members: |
|
| (1)__One must be a representative of a major statewide | organization representing dentists; |
|
| (2)__One must be a representative of a major statewide | coalition dedicated to issues concerning ambulatory | care; |
|
| (3)__One must be a representative of a major statewide | alliance dedicated to children's issues; |
|
| (4)__One must be a representative of a major statewide | organization of consumers dedicated to the cause of | affordable health care; |
|
| (5)__One must be a representative of a major statewide | organization dedicated to ensuring equal justice; |
|
| (6)__One must be a representative of the Department of | Human Services, Bureau of Health, Oral Health Program; | and |
|
| (7)__One must be representative of the Department of | Human Services, Bureau of Medical Services. |

| B.__Three voting members who are Legislators, one appointed | by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, one | appointed by the President of the Senate and one appointed | by the Governor; and |
|
| C.__Two nonvoting members appointed by the chief executive | officer and subject to approval by the joint standing | committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over | education matters.__These members must include: |
