The commissioner is authorized to designate days of slaughter or operation for approved establishments.

§2516.__Compliance

With respect to animals or carcasses or parts of carcasses, meat or meat food products that are fit for human food, a person may not:

1.__Establishment.__Slaughter animals or prepare articles at an establishment preparing the articles solely for intrastate commerce except in compliance with the requirements of this chapter;

2.__Articles.__Sell, transport, offer for sale or transportation or receive for transportation in intrastate commerce:

A.__Articles that are adulterated or misbranded at the time of sale, transportation, offer for sale or transportation or receipt for transportation; or

B.__Articles required to be inspected under this subchapter unless they have been inspected and passed; or

3.__Act in transportation.__Commit an act while those articles are being transported in intrastate commerce or held for sale after transportation that is intended to cause or causes them to be adulterated or misbranded.

§2516-A.__False labels, devices and statements

1.__Labels.__A brand manufacturer, printer or other person may not cast, print, lithograph or otherwise make a device that contains an official mark or simulation of an official mark, a label that bears such a mark or simulation or a form of official certificate or simulation of an official certificate except as authorized by the commissioner.

2.__Devices and statements.__A person may not:

A.__Forge an official device, mark or certificate;

B.__Without authorization from the commissioner, use an official device, mark or certificate or a simulation of a device, mark or certificate or alter, detach, deface or destroy an official device, mark or certificate;
