Subsection (f) [Maine cite | subsection (6)], which is new, mandates that the appropriate | official or the filing office sell or license the filing records | to the public in bulk, on a nonexclusive basis, in every medium | available to the filing office. The details of implementation | are left to filing-office rules. |

| §9-1524.__Delay by filing office |
|
| | Delay by the filing office beyond a time limit prescribed by | this part is excused if: |
|
| | (1)__The delay is caused by interruption of communication or | computer facilities, war, emergency conditions, failure of | equipment or other circumstances beyond control of the filing | office; and |
|
| | (2)__The filing office exercises reasonable diligence under | the circumstances. |

| | (1)__Except as otherwise provided in subsection (5), the fee | for filing and indexing a record under this part, other than an | initial financing statement of the kind described in section 9- | 1502, subsection (3) is: |

| (a) Twenty dollars if the record is communicated in writing | and consists of one or 2 pages; |
|
| (b) Forty dollars if the record is communicated in writing | and consists of more than 2 pages; and |
|
| (c) Ten dollars if the record is communicated by another | medium authorized by filing-office rule. |
