E.__A person may not be excused from attending and |
testifying or from producing books, papers, schedules of |
charges, contracts, agreements or other documentary evidence |
before the commissioner.__A person may not be excused from |
obeying a subpoena of the commissioner, whether the subpoena |
is signed or issued by the commissioner or the |
commissioner's designee or issued in a proceeding, criminal |
or otherwise, based upon any alleged violation of this |
chapter on the ground that the testimony or evidence, |
documentary or otherwise, required of the person or by the |
subpoena may tend to incriminate the person or subject the |
person to a penalty or forfeiture.__An individual may not be |
prosecuted or subjected to a penalty or forfeiture for a |
transaction, matter or thing concerning which that person is |
compelled, after having claimed privilege against self- |
incrimination, to testify or produce evidence, documentary |
or otherwise, except that an individual so testifying may |
not be exempt from prosecution and punishment for perjury |
committed in testifying. |
