| E.__A person may not be excused from attending and |
| testifying or from producing books, papers, schedules of |
| charges, contracts, agreements or other documentary evidence |
| before the commissioner.__A person may not be excused from |
| obeying a subpoena of the commissioner, whether the subpoena |
| is signed or issued by the commissioner or the |
| commissioner's designee or issued in a proceeding, criminal |
| or otherwise, based upon any alleged violation of this |
| chapter on the ground that the testimony or evidence, |
| documentary or otherwise, required of the person or by the |
| subpoena may tend to incriminate the person or subject the |
| person to a penalty or forfeiture.__An individual may not be |
| prosecuted or subjected to a penalty or forfeiture for a |
| transaction, matter or thing concerning which that person is |
| compelled, after having claimed privilege against self- |
| incrimination, to testify or produce evidence, documentary |
| or otherwise, except that an individual so testifying may |
| not be exempt from prosecution and punishment for perjury |
| committed in testifying. |
