Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from Other Special Revenue funds to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Literacy Volunteers

All Other $125,000

Provides funds in the form of a grant to Literacy Volunteers of America in Maine in order to provide equity of access to basic literacy services statewide by establishing programs in underserved areas and by increasing the capacity of existing programs through the expansion of technical assistance to local volunteer literacy organizations.

Sec. 2. Allocation. The following funds are allocated from the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.
