 |  | |  | Sec. 1.  Committee to Study the Feasibility of Establishing a Recreational Saltwater |  | Fishing License established.  Resolved:  That the Committee to Study the |  | Feasibility of Establishing a Recreational Saltwater Fishing |  | License, referred to in this resolve as the "committee," is |  | established; and be it further |

 |  | |  | Sec. 2.  Membership.  Resolved:  That the committee consists of the |  | following 7 members: |

 |  | |  | 1.  Two members of the Senate, appointed by the President of |  | the Senate, one of whom serves on the Joint Standing Committee on |  | Marine Resources and one of whom serves on the Joint Standing |  | Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife; | 
 | 
 
 
 |  | |  | 2.  Four members of the House, appointed by the Speaker of the |  | House, one of whom serves on the Joint Standing Committee on |  | Marine Resources and one of whom serves on the Joint Standing |  | Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife; and | 
 | 
 
 
 |  | |  | 3.  One public member appointed jointly by the President of |  | the Senate and the Speaker of the House; and be it further | 
 | 
 
 
 |  | |  | Sec. 3.  Appointments; chairs; convening of committee.  Resolved:  That all |  | appointments must be made by August 1, 2001.  The appointing |  | authorities shall notify the Executive Director of the |  | Legislative Council once all appointments have been made.  The |  | first named Senate member is the Senate chair and the first named |  | House of Representatives member is the House chair.  The first |  | meeting must be called by the chairs no later than September 1, |  | 2001.  The committee may meet up to 4 times to carry out its |  | duties; and be it further |

 |  | |  | Sec. 4.  Duties.  Resolved:  That the committee shall study the |  | feasibility of establishing a recreational saltwater fishing |  | license.  During the study, the committee shall hold at least 2 |
