Provides for the allocation of funds for the federal match on Medicaid services funded by the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to allow nonhospital-based agencies that provide mental health services to increase the wages of all employees in the classifications whose hourly wage is less than $9.50 per hour to that rate and to provide a 4% increase to other employees in that classification.

SUMMARY

This bill provides funds for the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to allow for community-based mental health services providers to:

1. Increase the wages of all employees in the classifications who make less than $9.50 per hour to that rate and to provide a 4% increase to other employees in that classification;

2. Maintain the current levels of health insurance coverage for their employees;

3. Maintain the current levels of workers' compensation and employer's liability insurance for their employees; and

4. Cover the increased occupancy and utility costs for residential, outpatient and administrative services.
