apprentice permit under the terms of this chapter shall comply | with the provisions of this chapter, the State Medical Gas and | Vacuum System Code and any applicable rules adopted pursuant to | this chapter. |

| | 2.__Exhibition.__Journeyman certifications with appropriate | endorsements and apprentice permits required under this | chapter must be exhibited whenever required by an inspector | certified under this chapter. |

| | 1.__Revocations, suspensions and reprimands.__The board | shall revoke or suspend a certification, endorsement or | apprentice permit or reprimand a certification holder, | endorsement holder or apprentice permit holder for any | violations of this chapter or rules of the board. |

| | 2.__Civil penalties.__A person who violates any provision of | this chapter, the State Medical Gas and Vacuum System Code or | any applicable rule of the board is subject to a civil penalty | of not less than $50 or more than $1,000 per day for each | violation. |
|
| | 3.__Criminal penalties.__A person who knowingly or willfully | violates this chapter, the State Medical Gas and Vacuum System | Code or any applicable rule is guilty of a Class E crime. |

| | The board shall adopt rules necessary to implement this | chapter.__Rules adopted pursuant to this chapter are routine | technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter | 2-A. |

| | This bill creates the State Board of Examiners for the | Medical Gas and Vacuum System Industry and establishes | certification requirements for medical gas and vacuum system | installers and a permit system for those who apprentice as | medical gas and vacuum system installers. |
