| (1)__Uses a computer knowingly to solicit, entice, | persuade or compel another person to meet with the | actor; |
|
| (2)__Is at least 16 years of age; |
|
| (3)__Knows or believes that the other person is less | than 12 years of age; and |
|
| (4)__Is at least 3 years older than the expressed age | of the other person; and |
|
| B.__The actor has the intent to engage in any one of the | following prohibited acts with the other person: |
|
| (1)__A sexual act as defined in section 251, subsection | 1, paragraph C; |
|
| (2)__Sexual contact as defined in section 251, | subsection 1, paragraph D; or |
|
| A.(3)__Sexual exploitation of a minor pursuant to Title | 17, section__2922. |
|
| Violation of this subsection is a Class C crime. |

| | Sec. A-18. 17-A MRSA §259, sub-§3, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 349, §3, | is repealed. |

| | Sec. A-19. 17-A MRSA §511, sub-§1, as amended by PL 1997, c. 467, §1, | is further amended to read: |

| | 1. A person is guilty of violation of privacy if, except in | the execution of a public duty or as authorized by law, that | person intentionally: |
|
| A. Commits a civil trespass on property with the intent to | overhear or observe any person in a private place;.__ | Violation of this paragraph is a Class D crime; |
|
| B. Installs or uses in a private place without the consent | of the person or persons entitled to privacy in that place, | any device for observing, photographing, recording, | amplifying or broadcasting sounds or events in that place;.__ | Violation of this paragraph is a Class D crime; |
