| | | Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2390, sub-§1, ¶K is enacted to read: |

| | | K.__The load on a combination vehicle with a 48-foot trailer | | transporting rough-sawn, milled or finished lumber | | exclusively may extend rearward beyond the body of the | | vehicle by no more than 18 inches, as long as the entire | | length of the trailer is filled with the lumber. |

| | | This bill allows the transport of rough-sawn, milled or | | finished lumber with an overhang of 18 inches or less on a 48- | | foot trailer. |
