Sec. EE-1. Cost-of-living adjustment. Any facility that accepts the cost-of-living adjustment for fiscal years 2001-02 and 2002-03 provided in this Act must provide an increase of no less than 3% in salaries and benefits to all front-line employees in each of those fiscal years according to the "Principles of Reimbursement for Nursing Facilities." For purposes of this section, "front-line employees" means all employees who work in the facility, excluding the administrator.
Sec. EE-2. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Part.
