What is Maine's Law on Road Associations
23 MRS §§3101-3106 govern the formation of private road associations and their powers and duties.
A Guide to Forming Road Associations, its appendices, and related information is available on the Maine Department of Environmental Protection's Road Associations website. The DEP also maintains a webpage about "Camp Roads, Unpaved Private Roads, and Other Dirt Roads."
